Who we are

Vanguard Mortgage Corporation is a Maine-licensed mortgage brokerage firm. Our mortgage processing office is located in Bath, with mortgage services provided throughout the State of Maine.

Vanguard utilizes local appraisers and local title companies in the mortgage transaction whenever possible. In many instances we can close the real estate transaction at the office of the real estate agency involved, or even at the home of the borrower.

The principal owner of Vanguard Mortgage is Ed

Jurenas, a participant in the real estate and mortgage industries since 1987. Ed's familiarity with the intricacies of Maine homes and property, title questions, and real estate market realities is added assurance to real estate brokers and consumers. This assurance of working with a competent mortgage professional translates into rate savings, fewer loan fall-throughs, and ease-of-transaction performance for all involved.
